"Sketches of Babylon" by Mear One: Mono-Distortion Series
Baurmann Gallery, in collaboration with the L.A. ART MACHINE, is proud to announce the release of Sketches of Babylon by Mear One. This unique series of 33 iconic works of art on paper represent the next generation of Mear One's signature urban landscape. Suggesting a future-past of urban decay from decadence and power as well as a future-future that is both ominous and beautiful, these paintings mark a turning point for the artist in which his creative world of ideas and imagery intersect in a fresh, precise and evocative body of work.
