While the civic plaza has long held a place as the heart of the city, the beating pulse of the streets is more often than not undervalued as just a trajectory of passage rather than a focal point in its own right. This inaugural annual festival of international urban art brings this oversight into the spotlight—celebrating the many forms of artwork inspired, created and envisioned on the landscape of the cityscape.

Though Graffiti art’s enduring nature is born out by the archives of history, from the caves of Lascaux to the spas of Pompeii to the walls of galleries and museums worldwide, this most public of art forms still frequently receives the disregard of sanctioned opinion. LA International Urban Art Festival aims to link this global phenomenon together, celebrating the artistic contributions of the streets and its creators while embracing the public which is both its medium and audience.

Let's demonstrate the power of the world's largest artistic movement!!
