Guest curator Donald Cosentino, professor emeritus from UCLA’s Department of World Arts and Cultures and curator of the acclaimed Fowler exhibition Sacred Arts of Haitian Vodou, offers an overview of the new exhibition In Extremis: Death and Life in 21st-Century Haitian Art, exploring how leading Haitian visual artists have responded to a tumultuous 21st century.
